As the joke goes, everybody is an actor/actress in LA. It's either real estate agents or massage therapists in HI. Seriously, I wonder what the general public think, what percentage of real estate agents are members of the local real estate boards and the National Ass-ociation of Realtors in HI? (One has to be a member of a local board in order to be a member of NAR, and once member of a local board than HAS TO BE a member of NAR too, so the one question covers it all.)

I wouldn't even guess on percentages, but I seem to remember our realtor was a member of the Hilo board (even though her office is Waimea). She doesn't advertise it on her website. She is proud of her CRS credential, which is a whole other thing of course.

The GRI (Graduate of Real Estate Institute) and the CRB (Certified Brokerage Magager) are the two highest ones.

I figured I will wait a month or two before revealing the secret. There are about 3,000 licensed agents on the Big Island, and about 20,000 in the whole State.

Art Thank you for the recommendation. They really are nice people, I have worked with them for 14 months until I found this great deal for them!
