The sale of your condo was reported today. Now I know who you are, where you live, who was your agent and how much you paid for it!

I'm not too worried about you coming all the way to MO to stalk me...it's COLD around here. I am glad it was finally reported as sold. Just 19 more days until we're there!!!

I just wanted to say that we love our condo! The ceilings are high...awesome for DH who is 6'5" & it really seems just right for us. Quite a few dead millipedes when we arrived & it hasn't been sprayed so not sure if it was recently by the previous owner or what. We're planning to have lunch with our realtor in the next couple of days. We're also working with our "property manager" to figure out what to do with the courtyard that has been somewhat neglected.

Say hello to him for me. He is a nice guy, and one of the few real estate agents I respect.

It is great that you feel so comfy in your new home, Honu!!! Take a few pics and let us see your new place. You can post them here if it makes it easier. It brings back my memories of buying our house in Ocean View! Congrats again!!! :) :) :)

Thanks Elbert! We are so excited to get our house here sold so we can move!

I had forgotten about posting pictures, we only took a couple while we were there of the furniture we bought. And the courtyard picture is the "before" cause it's all being redone...there were 3 palms like the one in the picture with huge thorns that had to go!

Thanks so much for the offer Elbert! Sorry I haven't emailed you back, we've been so busy with the house and trying to get ready for the big move this year. I can barely remember what I need to do from day to day with people coming over from Craigslist and sorting through so much of our stuff and taking care of our Daughter. I wish we'd given ourselves more time (like you all are doing) to reduce our stuff and sell the house, etc. but we're also SO ready to get to Kona!

hey jodi,
no worries about the email. I totally understand your busy.(ive been busy as well with our Hawaiian online business, www.hawaiiboundintl.com) Maybe once you get to Kona and settled and things are not so hectic. I was going to tell you also, that I was just out at Scott AFB, IL for some training (I have been there a few times) I actually thought about moving to and retiring to either O'Fallon or Belleville before we decided on Kona! wow, such a s small world. how funny is that. Anyway, hope your doing well my friend and let me know if I can help you with anything.
very respectfully,
Elbert

hey john, nice to hear from you my friend! no, its been hard selling hawaiian souvenirs. we have some cute stuff , you would think it would sell. we did really well about 2-3 years ago,(not great, but ok) but business has come to an almost complete halt now. we only average 1-2 sales a month :( we have so much money invested in our company, so we are hoping to business picks up. we have one potential buyer for our company, so we might just sell it, just to get rid of it.(not sure yet, as the potential buyer wants to pay 5% of what our companies value/worth has been assessed as. i think also with the bad economy it is hard to run a business and be profitable. hope you are doing well my friend.
very respectfully,
elbert
