My cousin works for the Hotel Sacher and we stayed there the last time we were in Vienna. We actually went to that Starbucks because my wife wanted a frappucino (or something like that) but most of the patrons were young people trying to follow the "American" trend. :) :) :)

Americans. Ruining culture since 1789.

We "tried" to go that Starbucks just because we'd hit our limit on smoke - this was in 2003/2004 before the EU starting pushing the non-smoking trend. The coffee there is pretty nasty, but I can choke it down if I putt enough milk and chocolate in it.

Aloha!
My plan is to visit Kona soon. I am a smoker, so my question is: Where is allowed to smoke in public places? Restaurants outdoors, walking in the streets, beaches, bus stations, etc. I dont know the rules and I dont want to disturb anybody's right. I never smoke indoors.Help me. thx

You can't smoke in restaurants and bars, in fact, you have to be 30 feet(?) from their doors and windows before you can light it up. County buildings and office buildings are smoke free too. Some condos forbid smoking in the common area and I know of one that won't let you smoke on your own lanai either. BTW, you better bring some cigs with you, they are $90/carton here!

Thank you John! :)
My question was: outdoors of a place may I smoke? outdoors of Lava Java while I drink a coffee? Or in the seashore of a beach? I dont want to leave cigatettebuts on the sand either.

You can't smoke in restaurants at all, indoor or outdoor. Shore/beach is OK.

OK I brought some Kau at at Hamakua nut yesterday, the dark roast.

I like a good cup only once or twice a day. I generally blend my own.

I like Kenyan coffee, when I can get it - also OF COURSE KONA (Hawain) - so this Sharkies looks interesting.

So - what roast do you recommend. I drink it black, do not like bitter and do not like "flavored"

Going to VNP on Sunday - is Sharkeys near Volcano?

thanks

Get the dark roast. Their farm is in Mt. View, few miles past VNP. Call Scott (owner) at 808.968.7531 and he will meet you somewhere in the area.

`Ihilani Coffee offers Kona Fusion coffees alongside our 100% Big Island estate coffees. Our fusion coffees are 25, 50, and 75% premium single estate Kona from a 4th generation coffee farming family. I've been in the orchard, helped with harvest, and seen the care taken in producing this ono coffee. I understand that most Kona blends are floor sweepings, horrid CBB-damaged co-op coffee, etc. but please be aware that some are EXCELLENT Kona fused with premium coffees from other locations. It makes these coffees affordable for "every day" drinking instead of just special occasions or gifts. I think it's a mistake to make "always" and "never" statements about any topic. 8)
