Feliz Navidad! Open a bottle of bubbly and celebrate the coming of 2017!

My wife is going to be working tonight so I will drinking and celebrating alone for the first time in my life! But I intend to stay up and make sure that this is not an illusion nor a dream and make sure 2016 actually does end and 2017 starts. For me 2015 was not a great year. And 2016 only got worse for me. Between all my health issues and so many friends dying, add to that this crappy project I am on currently, and with all the political shenanigans of the left side of the spectrum I can only hope things get better this year.

With all that said I wish everyone here a happy and prosperous New Year. I hope everyone is healthy and stays that way. Without your health you don't have much to look forward to in your life.

If your enemy gives you a bottle of champagne, don't open it, and certainly don't drink it, it's most likely contaminated. Don't start the new year on a bad drink. :drunken: :drunken: :drunken:

It doesn't have to be an enemy, I worked in a restaurant in my younger years, you probably wouldn't want to know what they did with the bottles there. I remember there was a guy who opened beer bottles by using a coin and you couldn't tell they were opened; replaced top shelf booze with well booze in the bottle; and he used a syringe needle to syphon wine out of a bottle and dilute it. We called him 'The Chemist.' Can you imagine what an enemy would do?! It's too late to check that champagne bottle, it's already empty! :)

Bonne Année! I spent two years in a pen because I was stupid enough to talk, but while I am still bitter, I am looking forward to 2017 and living in relative incognito in HOVE. Have a great year everyone!

Little late, but happy new year! Spent Christmas and New Years in Paris with the inlaws.

It's never too late! We spent the holidays with the monster-in-laws back in Warsaw. It was COLD, so we are happy to be back! Happy New Year!

I know. The weather in Illinois just sucks - that's why I moved. Is the old brewery still standing?
