Even though I know how much work Aaron put into his blog, I'm not surprised by its fate. Even though he calls it a "hiatus" I'd be surprised to see it coming back in a more successful way. http://aaronstene.com

I don't want to be offensive to Aaron but the blog was boring and kinda bland. There was not a lot of original content and his decision to not take a stand either way on certain subjects made his articles seem like he was trying to avoid controversy. While controversy can be draining in and of itself, it brings readership.

Sorry Aaron, I hope you can recharge your batteries and decide if it is worth it to continue or not.

I read it occasionally. I think Aaron knew his subject matter and put a lot of work and time and effort into his site. The problem as I see it was he focused on infrastructure, which, while it's certainly important, is only going to interest a small number of people, especially those who don't live there full time.

I think if he expanded the subject matter a little bit, he'd see more interest.

Let's face it... Aaron and his blog is and was a Putz... reading his words of wisdom is like being tired of sleeping all day.
