 Post subject: Another real estate question for John

Hey John,

If I were to buy two lots in Ag5 side by side would it be worth going through the trouble to have them re-assessed as one property? Are there any advantages to doing this? Disadvantages?

The county automatically will reassess it at the beginning of the year. A 10-acre parcel would most likely be assessed less than the two five-acre parcel assessment added together.
